Context and Challenges
Overview of UH2C
Origins:
Hassan II University of Casablanca was founded on the 14th of Safar 1395 (February 26, 1975) under Article 4 of the Dahir Law No. 1-75-102 of the 13th of Safar 1395 (February 25, 1975), related to the organization of universities. This institution originally included three establishments: the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, and the Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization.
University Council
In accordance with Article 9 of Dahir No. 1-00-199 (May 19, 2002) promulgating Law No. 01- 00 regarding the organization of higher education, universities are administered by a university council. Among the members of this council, based on parity between designated members and elected members, a management committee is established to handle administrative and financial matters.
The university council creates within itself permanent committees, and where appropriate, ad hoc committees (Article 14 of the same dahir).
Graphic Charter
